So after a long time writing I’ve decided to change things up a bit and with it comes a completely new website design! If you’re reading this on Facebook, G+, Email or RSS head over to the site for a gander now! The new design is much cleaner I think and focuses a lot more on imagery. There’s also a new easy categories menu.
A Big Shift
The new website is also designed to match the new Master Website – www.AlexShoolman.com – which was released last week. There’s a post over there explaining the shift but in a nutshell MTM is to become a sub-website to the master www.AlexShoolman.com site. Mortgages (and their mutilation) will be just one of the main topics being written about.
Learn how to improve your life with technology, see where it’s going in the future and how you can take advantage of it
The two sites will operate in unison and you’ll sometimes see cross-posts from time to time. If you want you can subscribe to the Master site and get even more great articles. I’ve also expanded the social platforms the blogs will be posted to with Twitter, YouTube, Patreon and GitHub.
With the introduction of Patreon I’m also releasing a way to support MTM and AlexShoolman.com. While MTM is mostly self supporting, Patreon will enable me to create and share more in depth and polished content more frequently.
Another big part of Patreon support includes giving you the supporters a direct line to me. You will get to help suggest and choose future pieces, research topics, guides or course that I produce. These guides or course won’t always be to do with Mortgages but they’ll always be interesting!
So I hope you enjoy the new look, new domain, new website and new content. If you’ve been reading MTM for a long time now thank you and get some more content at the new Master Site!
The benefits include: 1) How to pay off your mortgage faster than 99% of people with one hour a month of work 2) How to get rid of your debt and have the freedom to spend money on the things you love, guilt free 3) Clear outline of how to setup your expenses, mortgage and general finance 4) How offset accounts work and how to get the same result without being gouged by the big banks 5) How to cut through the crap and focus on the things that truly matter when taking down a mortgage 6) How to adjust the strategy so it works for you, even if you have kids, even if you only have one income 7) How to do all of these things and maintain a normal social life (and never be cheap).
